NAMIC Leadership Seminar: Accelerate Your Leadership Journey

The NAMIC Leadership Seminar is a transformative, 100% virtual program offered twice a year over the course of one week. This immersive experience brings together top academics and industry experts from across the nation to deliver an unparalleled leadership development experience. Tailored for high-potential managers in the early stages of their careers, the program is designed to elevate participants’ effectiveness, empower strategic career planning, and equip them with the insights to step confidently into leadership roles.

Participants emerge from this program with five core leadership competencies essential for impactful, inclusive leadership:

• 1. Inclusive Leadership: Participants learn to recognize and leverage diverse perspectives, cultivating a work environment where every team member can contribute meaningfully. This competency enhances a leader’s ability to foster cohesion, build respect, and drive team performance.
• 2. Maximizing Team Impact: With practical strategies for optimizing team dynamics, leaders are empowered to harness team diversity for innovation, problem-solving, and productivity. This skillset helps leaders align individual strengths with organizational goals, building resilient, agile teams that excel in dynamic environments.
• 3. Conflict Resolution: Through advanced techniques in conflict management, participants become adept at addressing disputes constructively, preserving relationships, and fostering a collaborative work culture that encourages open dialogue and trust.

• Please complete the online application in its entirety. Incomplete applications will not be considered.
• Acceptance into any of NAMIC's professional development programs is competitive; thus, submitting an application form does not necessarily guarantee admission into any NAMIC program.
• All applications undergo a review process. Attention is given to every aspect of an application. The evaluation of current and past achievements, letters of recommendation, and your statement of purpose are all taken into consideration.
• All of the information collected is strictly confidential and will be used exclusively in making program enrollment decisions.
• Upon acceptance into the program, the applicant is required to settle the fee upon receipt of the billing. Cancellations made less than 30 days before the program commences will incur a 50% charge of the total tuition fee. The organization/applicant will be liable for the entire program fee if a written cancellation request (submitted to programs@namic.com) is received within 14 days of the program's start. No refunds will be issued for partial participation.
• Participation in the kickoff webinar is mandatory and critical to your success in the program.
• This is a one-week (25 hours from 11:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET) virtual program.
