In addition to the Next Generation Leaders Awards, Syncom’s Managing General Partners, Terry Jones and Herbert Wilkins Sr. were honored with the Stanley B. Thomas Lifetime Achievement Award. Recognition is given to tenured industry professionals who have most lived the vision and purpose of NAMIC. Syncom has demonstrated involvement and support for issues affecting people of color by providing start-up capital for the launch of communications companies targeted to diverse communities, including BET, Radio One, TV One and Si TV.
